We are one of the leading, independent and vertically integrated oil company in Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2019, our company processed 778.0 Mt of raw materials and produced 475.0 thousand tons of saleable products: high-density polyethylene, ethylene, propylene, styrene, polystyrene, benzene, and etc.
We operate large offshore hydrocarbon assets in Kazakhstan, manage one of the world's largest integrated oil processing terminals and pipeline links to regional and world markets. Our pipelines export oil to the world markets.
Oiltrans Company LLC makes it through the use of cutting-edge downhole equipment, remote online monitoring technology, and organisational technologies directed at optimising the drilling process and reducing costs.
A total of 193 new production wells were commissioned, including 109 horizontal wells. Average daily flow at new wells was 37.8 tonnes, including 65.5 tonnes from horizontal wells. Total production from new wells (Group share) was 5.47 million tonnes. Drilling of horizontal wells has been found to be highly efficient and the Company plans to increase their numbers in the medium term. We lead the development of Oiltrans Company LLC‘s strategy, to drive the long-term resilience and value of our business and create value for our stakeholders more widely, including society, our employees and our shareholders. Processing products is for us one of the most budget-oriented activities.
In production & operations (P&O) we find and develop hydrocarbon resources, operate oil and gas production assets, as well as refineries, pipelines and terminals around the world. We make it – safely, cleanly and efficiently.
Crude production level The Company’s average daily crude production level rose by 1.4% compared with 2018. The Company had lot of work in 2016 to prepare and launch production at fields in Kazakhstan as part of its strategy of accelerated production growth. Special emphasis was placed on fields in Kashagan and Arystan oil field. Efficiency Work continued in 2014 to improve efficiency of field development and reduce operating expenses as part of Oiltrans Company LLC's program for optimization of development and production of oil in the period of 2012–2017. Oiltrans Company LLC's production companies took systematic measures in 2020 for increase of well productivity and oil recovery rates in order to achieve oil production targets. Development costs totalled $46,660 million. Total production drilling in 2017 was 2.968 million meters, which is 27% more than in 2014. There was an increase in the share of international projects in total production drilling, which reflected intensive field development work as part of projects, in which Caspian Investments Resources Ltd. was a participant.
Processing At our refineries at the same time operate several parallel lines of processing of raw materials, and finished products are sold in two main areas: Sale of the final product of refining from our own raw materials to our customers outside the Republic of Kazakhstan. Sale of refined products to our partners in the Republic of Kazakhstan, produced from the raw materials they extracted.

If in the first year of work, for exploration and production we used the capacities of exclusively contracting organizations, now we have our own division working in the field of research.
The use of cutting-edge technologies, including telecommunications technologies, allows data to be transferred to the Drilling Support Centre in real time, during drilling.
Oiltrans Company LLC Oil Drilling Support Centre was established specifically to improve effectiveness in the construction of high-technology wells. Its work is predominantly based around geo-steering technology, which involves obtaining information on the geological model of a field in real time, with adjustments made to the well trajectory in line with this.

The Drilling Support Centre supports the construction of practically all complex targets, including heavy-duty wells, wells with extended horizontal sections, and ultra-deep and multilateral wells. In addition to which, the Drilling Support Centre controls the drilling of all wells involved in the development of hard-to-recover hydrocarbon reserves, and as well as supporting the testing of new drilling technologies.
